Open letter to my first ever lovable friend whom i missed for several years published in web magazine few years ago
I am asking the world by raising a voice "what is the meaning of real friendship?"
This story is not about the borders or cultures. It is the story of Real Friendship.
I can say I’m net savvy but only till the extent of chatting with girls.
The thorough passion for acquiring world famous poetry helped me a lot in this particular aspect (if I might add). I am a student from India and at the beginning of my college days I really didn’t know what to do with internet when our batch had a new broadband connection.
I am the only guy who used to be calm and sedate in the class.
Due to high pressure in studies I use to be lonely.
I used to think about the society and world.
When I got a good friend named Arianna Introna from Italy through cyberfriends.com, my mindset totally changed.
Her feelings matched with mine; her thoughts reciprocated mine.
Her words used to motivate me.
Within a few days, we became good friends.
Though I am not a good poet, I am very good at gathering world famous poetry.
My inspirations from palm beach use to make my thoughts fly.
She used to share each and every thought with me.
We shared our email ids and postal addresses.
We use to write each other letters and mails.
For a while, I thought she is the best thing that ever happened to me.
She promised me to be my good friend forever.
I can’t explain Arianna...she is god according to me.
She is one of the most sacred beings I had ever seen.
She is also a good student of music.
As with all great relationships, problems didn’t spare us.
She used to write me long emails and I used to respond with small quotes.
After some days she sent me a mail saying that she will be moving to Scotland to study music.
I couldn’t be more happy for her.
But to my astonishment, she ended our correspondence after moving.
I thought she might be busy or must have had problems of her own.
It is three years now and I am really sad to say (to accept for myself even) that I really lost a good friend. I don’t know the reason behind this.
Not a minute clue.
She might be married.
I thought for a while...she may have forgotten me.
But my dear Arianna...I am not going to forget you ever.
The promises you made me and the motivation you gave me through our friendship will always be remembered.
Do you know I am still praying for you everyday?
When ever I go to Palm Beach, I think about our friendship.
I do not know where are you are or what you are doing.
But I will remember you till my last breath.
There is something more beautiful in this world than love, family and internal relationships.
It is this sacred concept called friendship which makes your life worthwhile.
So…my dear Arianna, if you are still pursuing graduation in Scotland and as per god’s wish if you see this article, it is enough for me. But if you do not wish to resume our correspondence, I will understand. As a great man once said "Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same”. You are the latter.
—With love

(Two years later, after getting this article published in web magazine called "NEWSWORTHY" i met Arianna recently in FACEBOOK unexpectedly something after 4 years of the actual break up story )

Wow, amazing story. So are you still in touch? And, why had she lost contact with you?

Though my friend haven't read this post when it was published,i am glad that she was still in touch with me through facebook, but in these 4 years lots of things changed..now she was too professional in her studies as well as in career.. i really missed my olden days with her..
How sweet! Oh well, at least you go back in touch ... and like they say ... Past is always a bitter sweet memory ... and we all move on...

time changes everything..people, feelings, relationship..its always better to move on, than linger in the past.Even if for a short time, but you got a good friend, so feel blessed.
Where are you friend?
Amazing..Friendship is indeed a purest relationship.
